Dear pupils,

Yes, I'm still on medical leave today. A really nasty bug indeed! I'm slowly regaining my voice and I'm sure I would be quite fully recovered by Monday. Oh... do I hear a loud sigh from the cyberway? Then it's back to reality for all of you.

By the way, please hand in English Test 1 as instructed yesterday. Please cooperate with Yun Xuan to see that the following tasks are carried out as instructed.

Yun Xuan and Vanessa, please make sure the following tasks are completed.

Math Textboook pg 62. Please complete all the problem sums on a piece of foolscap.
Remember to draw models, write your number sentence and word statements.

2) 7.45am to 9am - English Test 5 Test 1
Group leaders , please collect before going for recess.
Zara, please consolidate and check that everyone has handed in.
Sheares, put them on my table

3) 9am to 9.30am - Group discussion on play script. ( Vanessa, please seek permission from the relief teacher before proceeding with the discussions.

4) 9.30am to 10 am, 10.30am to 11.00am - Workbook Work problem 2 (group leaders, please collect the worksheet. Sheryl, please consolidate)

Hi pupils of 5.8,

Welcome to our class blog - ignite58! Why was ignite58 chosen as the name for our class blog? Clive asked if I wanted to burn the class. I smiled. No, I sure do not want to burn you up or roast any of you. The dictionary says "ignite" also means to begin to glow; to arouse passion of. That's what I want to do! I hope that everyone will "glow" brightly in all areas of your work and have a passion for learning and reading in my class.
